Welcome to the Ragnarok Finest! This guide will help new players understand the best path from **fresh character → geared farmer → PvP-ready player**.

## 1. Create Your Character, Check the server information in our wiki.

Start by choosing your preferred class.

The server is designed for:

| Playstyle     | Recommended Focus                        |

After creating your character, focus first on reaching the required level for farming and progression systems.

## 2. Leveling Progression

The server uses a high-rate setup, so leveling should be fast. Check your available commands by typing @commands in-game.

Your first goal:

> **Reach max level and prepare for farming.**

Recommended early steps:

1. Level your character. (Use field manual for faster leveling)
2. Get basic equipment. (We have equipment dealer and weapon dealer in (**@go mall**)
3. Learn your main farming skills.
4. Prepare supplies.
5. Start farming zeny and quest materials.

Do not rush PvP immediately. Build your farming base first.

## 3. Gold Room Guide

The [**Gold Room**](https://ragnarok-finest.gitbook.io/ragnarok-finest-wiki/game-features/gold-room) is the main source of zeny in the server.

Unlike normal servers, most item selling values are disabled or set to **0**, which means farming random items and selling them to NPC is not the main way to earn zeny. We have basic gold room guide equipment in our wiki.

### How Gold Room Works

Inside the Gold Room, you farm monsters to earn **Gold Points**.

Gold Points can be exchanged into zeny.

| Entry Fee         | Zeny fee may apply (3 free entrance for new account)                |

| Wallet Cap        | You can only hold a limited amount of Gold Points before exchanging |

### Important Gold Room Tips

* Exchange your Gold Points before your wallet becomes full.
* Watch out for the daily limit.
* During Happy Hour, Gold Point gains may be increased.
* Security checks may happen to prevent bot farming.
* Gold Room may become crowded, so farming speed may vary depending on how many players are inside.

### Beginner Goal

Your first Gold Room goal should be:

> Farm enough zeny for basic gear, refine fees, handbook deposits, and consumables.

## 4. Get Your Starter / Quest Equipment

After getting some zeny, start working on your **quest items**.

Quest equipment gives important early power and helps you farm better.

Example benefits may include:

* Stats
* FLEE
* Movement Speed

Some quest items may require drops from **Mini MVPs** or **MVPs**, so prepare properly before farming them.

Recommended order:

1. Get basic farming gear.
2. Farm Mini MVP materials.
3. Complete starter quest items.
4. Upgrade into stronger quest equipment.
5. Start MVP farming more efficiently.

## 5. Handbook Collection System

The [**Handbook Collection System**](https://ragnarok-finest.gitbook.io/ragnarok-finest-wiki/game-features/handbook-system) is one of the most important long-term progression systems in the server.

You can submit specific cards to complete collections and unlock **permanent bonuses**.

### Why Handbook Matters

Normal cards are not useless here.

They are used for permanent progression.

Possible bonuses include:

Do not ignore normal cards.

You can:

* Farm them for your own handbook.
* Sell them to other players.
* Buy missing cards from other players.
* Complete collections slowly over time.

The handbook is not meant to be finished instantly. It is a long-term goal.

## 6. Refine System

Refining improves your equipment and is also part of some progression systems.

Some features may require refined equipment, such as:

### Beginner Tip

Do not spend all your zeny refining immediately.

Start with:

4. Then refine important items.

## 7. Socket Enchant System

The [**Socket Enchant System**](https://ragnarok-finest.gitbook.io/ragnarok-finest-wiki/game-features/socket-enchantment) allows players to attempt to add slots to certain equipment.

This is a strong progression system and also one of the major zeny sinks in the server.

### How It Works

A socket attempt may require:

* A **+10 normal weapon**
* Icarus Weapon \[3] (Quest Weapon)
* Socketing Materials (5x Oridecon, 5x Steel)
* Zeny fee
* Success chance (15%)

Example:

Socket enchant is not guaranteed, so prepare enough materials and zeny before attempting.

### Beginner Tip

Do not rush socket enchant too early.

Recommended path:

1. Get stable zeny income.
2. Complete starter gear.
3. Farm normal weapons.
4. Refine them to +10.
5. Attempt socket enchant when you are ready.

## 8. MVP and Mini MVP Farming

We have MVP warper for free just type (**@npc 18**) MVP and Mini MVP monsters are important for:

* Quest materials
* Equipment drops
* Cards
* Contribution items
* Rare progression items

Some MVP-related drops may have low drop rates, so farming them requires patience.

### Beginner Tip

If MVPs feel too hard at first, that is normal.

Progression should feel like this:

The **Bloody Branch Summoning System** allows players to summon MVPs using Bloody Branch. We have public and branch room exclusive for branch summoning just type in-game (**@npc 33**) This is useful for players who want:

* MVP farming
* Rare MVP chance
* MVP drops
* MVP cards
* Quest materials

Bloody Branch usually costs zeny, so it also works as a zeny sink.

### Beginner Tip

Use Bloody Branch only when you are ready.

Before summoning:

* Bring supplies.
* Prepare proper gear.
* Know your class rotation.
* Avoid wasting branches if you cannot kill the MVP efficiently.

## 10. Activity Points System

Activity Points are rewards from active gameplay.

You may earn Activity Points from systems such as:

* Daily quests
* Online activity rewards
* Skull exchanger
* Item contribution
* Treasure Chest from killing any MVP in their designated map
* Other server activities

Activity Points can be used in the Activity Point Shop. (**@npc 38**)

### Activity Point Shop Use

Spend Activity Points wisely on:

* Consumables
* PvP supplies
* Farming support items
* Utility items
* Limited items

Do not waste Activity Points too early if you are saving for stronger supplies.
